Mad Decent, the production company, has been more than just “decent” in 2012, having released some of the biggest productions this year and rapidly earning props within the EDM community. On Saturday August 4th, Mad Decent will be making another huge move as it hosts the Mad Decent Block Party right here in Philadelphia for FREE! Yes, you read correctly, no need to shell out another $50 for a high quality show as this Block Party is FREE to attend.
The Mad Decent Block Party series features big dance names such as Major Lazer, Zeds Dead, Dillon Francis and tons of others to ensure the streets blow up around the country with good music and good vibes. Major Lazer will headline the Philly show with Flosstradamus, who was removed from the lineup because of a 2011 show in Chicago that almost incited a riot but has been re-added due to popular demand.
While admission is FREE they’re not letting just anyone in, you have to be on ‘the list.’ Luckily, all you have to do to RSVP is ‘like’ Mad Decent Block Party on facebook and click the link that says ‘RSVP.’ That’s it! Now all you have to do is bust out the shades and the sunblock and get ready for this exciting summer party!
